There are three major ingredients in the DOLPHIN way of life:
- Firstly, emphasis on assignment to each employee of "roles" instead
of a mere management by objectives or by functions or even by tasks,
- Second, prevalence given to "collective problem-solving" versus
emotional or authoritarian decision-making,
- Third, the relational bond of "quality-controlled processes
negotiated" constantly, per ISO-9001, as opposed to either
lackadaisical or rigid practices.
As for management by roles, it enables a heightened sense of responsibility
for every employee, with adhoc delegation of authority but with little
emphasis on hierarchical positions. This is a surprise for whomever
expects some traditional hierarchical chain of command, while managerial
positions can be focused on personnel grooming, performance evaluation,
assessment of training needs, and collective problem-solving.
Our certification program is centered on the theme "Quality is
the daughter of Urgency". A bit shocking, it is tantamount to
acknowledging that Time-To-Market can only be improved through a lively
combination of design-reviews, self-controls and acceptance criteria,
which must encompass the end-users' design-in processes, must involve
rational IQ assessments (Index of Quality) and must be styled by a
genuine dedication to customer service. Since it is a not so common

Our background with years as a custom IC Design Center has turned into
a bonanza for proper specification of products together with their
