> What are the input files for GDS Reticle?

  • a GDSII library with the data on:
    • the circuit sizes
    • the mask patterns sizes (PCM, test structures...)
  • a placement constraints file (Text) with:
    • placement constraints (absolute, relative, conditional, calculated)
    • rotation constraints (fixed or relative)
    • priorities

> What are the output files of GDS Reticle?

  • a text file (fixed coordinates) enabling:
    • manual modifications if decided by the user
    • saving disk space in storage compared to other formats
    • easy re-generation when a recomputation is required at any time in the process steps
  • a GDSII file containing empty structures
