SLED, Schematic Link EDitor, is a hierarchical schematic entry of the third generation delivering the long awaited dual capability for Graphic Entry and Scriptability at once. This new generation of Intuitive Schematic Entry provides designers with a user friendly and efficient solution to perform graphic entry and configuration of their designs in a shorter time.
By combining SLED with All-in-One simulator SMASH, a tightly integrated solution grants the enhancement of any analog design flow and even extends it to multi-domain design, especially MEMS. SMASH is celebrated for best-in-class compliance with the VHDL-AMS IEEE standard language, whereas SLED provides top-notch VHDL-AMS link editing and netlisting.

Product characteristics
SLED embeds the features and advantages of a third generation schematic capture. It enables efficient linking of components from diverse libraries, with an extensible library of basic analog components, and provides netlisting in various SPICE flavors for coupling with analog simulators, layout and verification solutions.
Interoperability with other schematic entry solutions is ensured for capitalizing on legacy designs through an ECS Library Converter. Available as a scriptable batch executable with a graphic wizard for guiding the designer in the conversion process, it makes the import of previous designs, from the family of legacy ECS entry solutions, easy. Interoperability in the Design Chain is ensured through standard design exchange formats and scriptability for customization by CAD managers and users alike.
SLED offers an innovative solution for Design Context management to enable hierarchical multi-level and multi-domain design.
