What is a MEMS?

 

 

A MEMS means Micro-Electro-Mechanical-Systems

MEMS means Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System: it includes a mechanical part and an electronic part like micro-sensor systems. Sometimes it can also include a micro controller with its embedded software. For which we also provide a solution. DOLPHIN is involved in specific MEMS such as micro-sensors or micro-actuator (micro-mirrors) systems integrated on an Integrated Circuit or on a Printed Circuit Board.

 

What does DOLPHIN propose for MEMS?

DOLPHIN proposes two kinds of product:

  • EMBLEM-Mecha, which is a library of basic effects for mixed-signal simulation described in VHDL-AMS to simulate any sensor
  • MEMS generators to automatically create the mechanical part of MEMS with the associated simulation model
