What can (and must) be changed in a license file?

1. You can substitute the word "hostname "on the server line (1st arg) by the hostname of your server. This modification is generally mandatory.
   
   
2. You can change the port address on the server line (3rd arg). You can leave this value unchanged if you no other applications uses this port.
   
   
3. You can add a path to the daemon on the VENDOR line (2nd arg). This modification is not necessary if you are using the flexlm utils delivered with SoC GDS.
   
   
4. You can also edit any right-half of a string (b) of the form a=b where (a) is all lowercase.
   (For example, xxx in vendor_info="xxx" can be changed).
   

Any other changes will invalidate this license.
