SoC GDS Multi Frame
Unmatched Geometry Display
Discover each option’s complete features in its individual page and register for a SoC GDS Seduction download
Using an editor – or a cheap “cut-down” version of an editor – to display cells is always slow: editors require a stream-in cycle and are not tuned for large designs. Smoothly integrated into existing flows and natively loading compressed or uncompressed GDSII and LEF archives, SoC GDS Multi Frame is intended for use where even today’s top-of-the-line GDSII viewers fail to provide adequate performance, capacity or functionality.
SoC GDS Multi Frame goes beyond standard viewing with its powerful integrated XOR-based cell comparison, multiple format support, advanced hierarchical navigation and (VC)LEF generation.
Running under Solaris, HP-UX, Linux and Windows, using SoC GDS View at any stage in your design flow will boost your productivity and slash your costs. SoC GDS delivers the same unbeatable capcacity, performance and compatibility across all your development and delivery platforms. |

> Unmatched Speed and Capacity
SoC GDS Multiframe literally redefines the meaning of speed and capacity in geometry viewing and validation. Designed from the ground up to handle today’s – and tomorrow’s – enormous designs. SoC GDS Multi Frame uses advanced incremental resolution dependent rendering techniques which, coupled with the interruptable display guarantee that you never get blocked waiting for lengthy graphical operations to terminate.
> Hierarchical Cell Comparison
Finding minor differences after automated or manual modifications to cells is traditionally a time-consuming and error-prone process. The innovative graphical comparison functionality provides an unmatched lighting-fast solution for XOR comparison of GDSII/GDSII, GDSII/LEF, LEF/LEF cells of arbitrary depth or complexity in linear time using constant memory to guarantee a fast, correct result.

> Display and Verify LEF
Coupled with SoC GDS Multi-Frame’s comparison functionality, LEF load and display delivers visual verification of the correspondence between a GDSII and its routing profile, port and obstruction locations etc. The tightly integrated parser ensures that LEF is syntactically correct and complies with the language standard.
> Multi Format Support
Designed from the ground up for integration into existing flows, SoC GDS Multi Frame supports GDSII load and display, LEF load and display, (VC)LEF creation, Calibre RVE integration and configuration from Cadence techfiles.
> Extended selection mode and hierarchical navigation
The extended selection and navigation tools delivered as standard with SoC GDS Multi-Frame deliver powerful and reliable tools for fast and easy navigation within your design and attribute location and display at unprecedented levels of detail without compromising overall performance.
> Cadence Techfile Support
Soc GDS Multi-Frame’s integrated Cadence techfile compatibility guarantees rapid integration into your existing flow without a time-consuming and error-prone manual configuration file setup.

> System-Wide Design Kits
From 5.5 onwards, SoC GDS Multi Frame solves enterprise-wide technology configuration issues through it’s user-selectable design kits.
> Full layer display attribute configuration
All layer display attributes including fill style and color, line style and color and rendering order are configurable through SoC GDS Multi-Frame’s integrated editor, or may be edited “by hand” in the human-readable configuration. |
